Hope for Life Rescue is a pro‑life, cage‑free animal shelter serving the Virginia Beach and Norfolk communities since 2002. Each year, we rescue over 1,200 animals and proudly maintain a 97% save rate, ensuring every pet has a chance at a better life. With 94¢ of every dollar going directly to animal care and more than $450,000 spent on veterinary services annually, our mission is rooted in compassion, quality care, and second chances.

We connect animals with loving homes through adoption, foster programs, and community involvement opportunities, while also offering multiple ways to give—from donations and sponsorships to supplies and volunteer support.
